San Juan Islands

On June 4th we were awakened by a little munchkin (Boston) at 5:30am.

Since we were awake we decided to make the best of it.

So we scrambled around the house to get ready and took a two our drive to

Anacortes Washington...from there we jumped on an hour ferry to

Friday Harbor in the San Juan Islands.

And now you know why....isn't it beautiful?!

and splashing in the ocean with Boston.

Boston could spend an entire day on the beach. He probably threw every rock back into the water. He paid no attention at all when the baby crabs would hook on to his fingers. He just said, "wow" and then throw them into the ocean.

Sorry little crabs, hope you didn't sustain any injuries.
