Olympic National Park

a few weeks ago some friends of ours took us on an adventure

through the olympic national park.

here we are at marymere falls (port angeles)

the picture speaks for itself...beautiful part of the world.

the hike up mount storm king trail started out super easy. the map said

5.2 miles round trip so we thought, "why not?!" well, 5.2 on

flat terrain is no sweat. 5.2 miles on a vertical MOUNTAIN is

quite the sweat. pete and i took turns carrying boston. hard

enough getting yourself up, then add a wiggly 20 month old ;) once

we reached the top...we were exhausted, but the view we had was totally worth it.

thanks for the hiking backpack tiff. you're a lifesaver! thanks pete for carrying boston most of the time.

our little family. sorry my butt is blocking the view...it tends to

do that from time to time. darn that dreyers summer peach ice cream!
